The Lesson is a Batgirl storyline featuring Stephanie Brown and written by Bryan Q. Miller with illustrations by Dustin Nguyen. It's the conclusion to Miller's Batgirl series, following his second arc The Flood. This series was cancelled along with every ongoing DC title at the end of Flashpoint, when the DC Universe was rebooted into The New 52. It's followed by Gail Simone's new Batgirl volume featuring the return of Barbara Gordon to this role, beginning with her storyline The Darkest Reflection.
