Dr. Foreman had been involved in the treatment of a patient who first exhibited euphoria, then blindness which the patient could not perceive, then tremendous pain. Dr. Foreman was the only doctor who had been to the patient’s apartment. Dr. House started becoming concerned about his behavior when Dr. Cameron reported unprofessional behavior around the patient and Dr. Foreman grinned when Dr. House performed an experiment by shooting a corpse. Soon after, Dr. Foreman started laughing when the patient became tachycardic and started bleeding.
