In the mirror universe, Lupaza was a Bajoran female who lived during the 24th century. By the 2370s, she was a member of the Bajoran dissident movement and the organisation's contact with its Cardassian agent Ataan Rhukal. Prior to 2377, Rhukal assassinated Tekeny Ghemor and subsequently confessed to the crime under interrogation supervised by Natima Lang, Ghemor's successor as director of the Obsidian Order. He implicated Lupaza. She was soon taken prisoner by the Order and died during her own interrogation, though not before confirming Rhukal's story. (DS9 novel: The Soul Key)
