A Tragic Decision (悲壮な決意) is an Event Track in Xenoblade Chronicles, composed and arranged by ACE+. It is track 3 of disc 2 from the Xenoblade Original Soundtrack. This music is a dark, sad theme that is heard in the cutscene when Face Nemesis fights back against Egil in his Yaldabaoth Face unit, causing the bottom of Galahad Fortress to collapse and send the party down to the Fallen Arm; it also plays after the first battle against Egil when he summons Yaldabaoth to help him in battle against the party in Agniratha. This theme serves as the battle theme in this same fight against Yaldabaoth, then later when Fiora/Meyneth battle Zanza in the Mechonis Core, and (strangely) against Frenzied Bana during the Bana the Betrayer quest (which makes this the only instance in the game of a theme oth
