Carlito's orphans refer to 50 children spread across the United States who are infected with the parasite that causes zombification. Labeled as "ticking time-bombs", these children are expected to turn and cause outbreaks in the major cities that they're situated in. It is unknown whether Frank West and Isabela Keyes, after finding out about Carlito's plan in Dead Rising, were able to share this information with the United States Government and stop Carlito's plans as there have been no reports of infections or outbreaks in the major cities targeted. __TOC__
