The Bywayman is based on a 1973 Chevrolet Silverado C/K 20 pickup. A special Toys 'r' Us exclusive version was released in 1980 under the name of Geoffrey's Pickup. The Bywayman was also slightly modified with a plastic snowplow and named the Super Scraper and Power Plower. It has also gone under the names of Pavement Pounder and Race Truck.
