In Cecil Price's recurring nightmare, he, Muhammad Shabazz and Tariq Abdul-Rashid were stopped while driving through Neshoba County, Mississippi in 1964 by an unnamed sheriff's deputy, much as Price had stopped James Chaney, Andrew Goodman, and Michael Schwerner in reality. In keeping with the backdrop of Price's nightmare, wherein the racial hierarchy of the state was inverted, the deputy was black.
