The technique is initiated by preforming the specific hand seals and molding a large culmination of both physical and spiritual energy. Then the user must create an imbalance between their Yin and Yang chakra by causing a larger portion of Yin chakra to dominate the Yang chakra. This will cause the user's physical body to begin deconstructing causing their soul to emerge. Only those with the Rinnegan or Tenseigan are capable of seeing the user soul, and it cannot be sensed. For this reason many mistake this technique as a suicide technique because they only see the user body wither away into a pile of ash. The user then must quickly find a living host in which they will take over and travel into their body.
