The treaty was negotiated for days between President Cole Kroger of the GCS, Chief of State Ponc Gavrisom of the New Republic and Emperor Palpatine of the Galactic Empire. Palpatine, who had used clone bodies since his first death at the hands of Anakin Skywalker in 4 ABY, constantly argued with Kroger to the point where it almost came to violence between the two powerful Force-wielders. Palpatine eventually died his final death on Onderon after he attempted to restart the war. Negotiations on behalf the Imperials was there on done by Supreme Commander Gilad Pellaeon.
