Bay and Leonard Nimoy were married on New Year's Day 1989, making her Adam Nimoy's stepmother, and had their honeymoon in Europe and Lake Tahoe. She often worked with her husband in his photography. [1] Bay had previously been married to Trek guest actor John Schuck from 1978 through 1983. Bay confirmed Nimoy's death on 27 February 2015 . [2] In lieu of her husband, she was asked by Bad Robot Productions to nominate a charity to benefit from their "To Boldly Go" fundraising campaign. She chose St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. [3]
