Palaq Dihanur (pronounced PAH-lahk DEE-hah-noor) was the patriarch of the Dihanur family, a powerful merchant clan based in Janaal. They were economic rivals and developed a blood feud with the Rokat family. Palaq was brutally murdered by one of the brothers of Jamar and Qasam Rokat who was based in Janaal. His head was severed and displayed atop a fountain for all to see.
