"Hot Diggity (Dog Ziggity Boom)" is a novelty song popularized by Perry Como and performed by the Smashing Pumpkins as one of the "Lollapaloser" acts in episode 210 of Muppets Tonight. As the pumpkins sing the "Boom" of the song's title, Big Mean Carl smashes them with a club in time to the music. The song is interrupted by the group's third member, who protests to Carl that he isn't a pumpkin and therefore shouldn't be smashed. Unfortunately for him, he's a squash.
