Along with nine other past and future versions of Robotnik, Clockwork Robotnik was dragged into the past to face the Sonic the Hedgehog of 2011. He soon tracked down his foe and helped to dishevel him, electrocuting Sonic after Ghost Robotnik had already weakened the hedgehog. The other Robotniks believed that Clockwork Robotnik had brought them all together, but were proved wrong when he complimented the others for the plan.
