Regidor is a prodigy of a wizard who studied with Kale under Fenworth. He has a flair for the dramatic, and is a meech dragon with green scales. Regidor can play accompaniment on each one of Dar's instruments, among them flute, trumpet, and violin. Before he hatched, Regidor was found by the evil wizard Risto in an attempt to create a new race. Risto's plan was thwarted when Kale took the egg from him. According to the book he is always trying to be the center of attention or theatrically avoid it. He marries Gilda and they have at least one child, though the book does not specify the name.
