HC Shakhtyor Prokopyevsk is an ice hockey team in Prokopyevsk, Russia. The founded in the early 1960s. The club made its debut in the third-level Klass B during the 1963-64 season. Throughout Soviet times, Prokopyevsk participated in the lower-tier competitions. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Shakhtyor primarily participated in the third-tier Russian Hockey League (previously the Pervaya Liga). Due to financial issues, the club elected to join the Siberian Student Hockey League in 2013.
