Sun Woman was a tyrant on the light side of the planet Vannar, where one side always faced the sun. She had stolen from a scientist a super-harness that drew power from the sun. She was overthrown by Night Girl, who was undergoing a test to see which member of the Legion of Substitute Heroes would be invited to join the Legion of Super-Heroes.
