The Imperial Civil War was a galaxy-spanning conflict that started in 0 ABY between the Order of the Sith Lords, the Galactic Empire and the Imperial Confederacy. It was at this point that the remaining Jedi saw that the Galactic Empire was too busy fightning amongst themselves to notice what the Rebel Alliance was doing. The Jedi rallied together and established a new Jedi Order. It was made official that the Empire was at war with itself during the Battle of Coruscant (Imperial Civil War) in which a failed assassination attempt on Palpatine was made. Tarkin had brung many fellow Imperial commanders under his banner inculuding his protoge: Natasi Daala.
