After entering The Groves of Persephone and after a conversation with the goddess, Kratos is ordered to cast his weapons at the Forsaken Tree and then pass through the gates. Persephone then walks through the gates and leaves the Spartan looking at the tree. After disarming himself, he enters the gates and encounters Calliope.After their reunion, Persephone comes and reveals her trap of disarming Kratos, so that Atlas could destroy the Pillar of the World. After this discussion the portal disappears.
