Chester Bolton became known as the "Death Reaper" after he murdered three people at a gas station and later killing five more at a local food store. Bolton was 81 years old (citation?) and suffered from depression. He claimed to be a Ku Klux Klan member and was noted saying "my time has come, to kill all the niggers in my town, don't say snap about me, or you'll find yourself with your brains blown". On February 5, 1991, Bolton was struck by a car as he fled from police helicopters. He died almost immediately.
