The Prime Minister of the Youngian Empire is the chief minister of the Youngian Empire. As such the Prime Minister chairs the Imperial Council of Ministers in the Emperor's absence. The Prime Minister coordinates the Council's relations, issues executive statements in the name of the Emperor, and supervises the government bureaucracy daily. The Prime Minister is also the Emperor's most trusted advisor and assistant, and is given the honorary function of tasting the Emperor's food for poison. The Prime Minister controls all access to the Imperial Palace, and is in charge of coordinating Palace relations with other sections of government.
