Zerpen Industries was a company that hired polymath Galen Erso on Vallt, where he studied synthesized Kyber crystals. The company invested a lot of money in Vallt for this project. Smuggler Has Obitt brought weapons to Zerpen Industries headquarters on the Epiphany moon in the Salient system. The Galactic Empire quickly arrived and, although with some resistance from Zerpen, laid waste to the base and conquered the Salient system.
