Fluffscuttle was a young recruit in the Long Patrol under Lady Melesme. The story was told that he was once ordered by a Drill Sergeant to polish his sword until he could see the Sergeant's face in it. The young recruit took this seriously and stayed out polishing until past midnight, because he still couldn't see the Sergeant's face in it. Fluffscuttle was a friend of Captain Derron Fortindom.
