Dagannoths are sea-based monsters that live in the Lighthouse basement. After players finish Horror from the Deep, regular dagannoth are found there. When fighting, it is recommended to use melee armour, bring good food, and pray against range. At high levels it is possible to stay for long periods of time with good food. It may be advisable to use Soul Split or bring a team with you to distribute the damage taken. Intelligent strategies, and careful selection of gear and abilities are a must if a player wishes to stay for more than a few minutes at a time.
