Austin Anoa was one of the earliest and most successful examples of a super soldier, serving as a member of the United States armed forces during the events of the second World War. During a mission in Japan he was caught in the blast of an experimental super weapon, sustaining direct exposure to a mantra reactor, which transformed him into the infamous "Cataclysm", a walking disaster who has surfaced numerous times throughout the course of history in times of great war, death and destruction, as one of the strongest and most destructive mutants to ever live, whose power seems to swell and grow continuously without any limitation or reasoning.
