Nicola Unity Griffin is a British-born UNSC politician and chairman of the Earth-First Party (EFP). Griffin was born in Barnet, and was educated in Suffolk. She joined the far-right Earth-nationalist Earth Front at the age of fifteen, and became a political worker for the party following her graduation from Cambridge University. In 2547 she was conscripted into the UNSCDF as part of the war effort against the Covenant. She was discharged in 2550 after being wounded at the Battle of Draco III. In 2551, she joined the EFP, and in 2556 became its leader. She stood as the party's candidate in several elections, but has not yet won a seat. In May 2575 Griffin announced that in 2578 she would stand down as the EFP's leader.
