The Neolithic Age was a period of prehistory for many races and cultures, as a part of the Stone Age. The Orions on Rigel VIII were barely into their Neolithic Age, around 18,000 BCE (reference stardate −200/00), when they attacked a Yugai colony with clubs and stones and were subsequently exterminated. Later races such as the Sugg and others who signed the Treaty of Kammzdast enslaved and trained the Stone Age Orions, eventually giving them advanced weaponry and technology (FASA RPG module: The Orions: Book of Common Knowledge).
