The Aen Elle (Elder Speech meaning "People of the Alders", "Alder Folk"), are elves who inhabit another world and are culturally distinct from Aen Seidhe elves. The latter arrived on the Continent after the Conjunction of the Spheres following the destruction of their ancestral homeworld. In the world of the Aen Elle, elves are constantly at war with unicorns. The King of the Alders, Auberon Muircetach, governed his people from the capital city of Tir ná Lia.
