Silberman was a guard in Butcher Bay Correctional Facility. He didn't want to be bothered by Richard B. Riddick who was in a disguise and told him to leave him alone, since he's on duty. He talked to Jenkins about the rails, he said he didn't care how much they pay him, he wouldn't go down there. Silberman said he would rather do more important "life things". Silberman also said that Jenkins should know better, and stay off the bottle.
