Gahlar, son of Murak was a HemQuch Klingon alive in the 2260s. In 2269, Gahlar was working at a dilithium mining facility in Beta Thoridar in order to cut time off of his prison sentence. While there he got into an argument with Krov; the next day, Krov was found dead, which made Malvak suspect that Gahlar killed him. This suspicion led to Malvak killing Gahlar in revenge, after the investigation determined that Krov's death was an accident, despite Krov's throat being cut. (ST novella: The Unhappy Ones)
