This fellow was appointed by The Council to advise the new Storm King claimant Martellus von Blitzengaard. Unfortunately, when Martellus brought a squadron of airships to the Corbettite Depot Fortress of St. Szpac in pursuit of Agatha, rather than simply alert Martellus as ordered, Smugley decided to put forth a "show of power" and ordered an attack on the fortress. The Corbettite Monks responded with a blast from their Smite Ray, destroying several airships in the squadron. The insufferably smug adviser was immediately defenestrated from the command airship by an enraged Martellus.
