Born as Jonathon Robert Donahue in Binghamton, New York, he worked as professional on-air news reporter for WBNG-TV (CBS) in New York, prior to his move to California in 1999. Beside working as a Universal Studios Tour Guide and Host for the Dosney MGM Studios and the Nickelodeon Studios, Donahue studied acting at the Playhouse West and under acting coach Dee Wallace Stone.
