The town is surrounded by a dense jungle with many tall trees that act as a perfect hiding place for flying dinosaur scouts keen on keeping intruders away. Beyond this are plains, mountains and rivers that make Dinotown a secluded location. Despite this, a small village outside of the jungle considers itself to be part of Dinotown, despite the only seen resident being Tom, a human owner of Tom's Trading Post and Supply Emporium.
