Along the way, he teams up with the San Francisco Deputy Chief Geologist. The score to the film was provided by Alexandre Desplat. In stark contrast to the original A View to a Kill, which is consistenly ranked as one of the worst James Bond movies, From a View to a Kill received mostly positive reviews.
