Capital Security was a department of the People's Republic of Haven's Office of State Security, responsible for the protection of Nouveau Paris. Capital Security, Presidential Security, Committee Security, and the Chairman's Guard were all part of StateSec and tasked with guarding the core leadership, but were intentionally isolated from each other to prevent an uprising. But, the separation of each department led to confusion and an inability to properly coordinate during the Leveler Uprising. (HHA1.3: AWoG)
