Before its latest revision, the Drikaara was mainly used as command ship of smaller task forces, as well as in planetary assault - a cheaper alternative to the massive Chakrar Warcruisers or Cornugon Carriers. However, various engagements have prompted the need of a lighter battleship dedicated to space combat. With the introduction of the Drikaara II, the ship now sports improved ship-to-ship weaponry, fighter defense and greatly increased sublight speed and an improved hyperdrive engine for quick reaction alerts. It retained its atmospheric flight capabilities, thus remaining a deadly weapon during planetary assault. The majority of warheads carried onboard are concussion missiles.
