Uniformed Troopers of the Carabineros de Bexar are responsible for enforcing traffic and criminal law, and serve as the Bexar national police. The Carabineros de Bexar is actually a sub-unit of the Fuerza Armada Nacional, under the operational control of the Ministry of the Interior in peacetime, with jurisdiction over both civilian and military personnel.
