In 1922 PD, he held the rank of Vice Admiral and was in command of the space station HMSS Weyland. He scheduled a number of surprise emergency evacuation exercises for the station's crew, which made him rather unpopular among many of the people under his command. However, the exercises ended up saving many lives, as one of them was being conducted when Weyland was destroyed by the Mesan Alignment Navy's Operation Oyster Bay. Vice Admiral Faraday himself died along with his staff, as they had stayed behind on the station to oversee the exercise. (HH12)
