Julie Dawn Cole (born 26th October 1957 in Guildford, Surrey) played two roles in Emmerdale - Pip Coulter in 1978 and Bob Hope's ex-wife Barbara in 2006. She has appeared in several British TV shows such as Casualty, Holby City, Doctors, The Upper Hand, Bergerac and Tales of the Unexpected. Internationally, she is known for her early role as spoilt brat Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.
