Ami Foster, best known as Margaux Kramer on the NBC sitcom Punky Brewster, first came to national attention on Ed McMahon's Star Search (1983) as a junior singer finalist. She has an older brother, Shawn Foster. She won the National Tap Dance Championship at age 5. As of June 2004, Foster is married with one child.
