The Tri-Fighter was controlled by a single integrated cybernetic brain housed in the main "ball" portion of the fighter. Surrounding this command portion were three vertical beams each of which was equipped with a blaster cannon. These cannons were mounted on rails allowing them to change positions if needed while acquiring targets. A single large cannon was placed in front of the spherical unit. The fighter's propulsion was handled by three engines in the back which provided superior maneuvering capability.
