The Fire-born were worshippers of the spirit of Sith Lady Aorali Ventirri. Under her guidance, they achieved a basic competancy in the Dark Side of the Force. Some were former Blazing Chain raiders from the Unknown Regions. In 17 ABY, Ventirri sent the Fire-born to kill the crew of the Concordat. The bulk of the cult was killed in the process, many after Velok detonated a bomb in their shrine, disrupting the Sith magic that kept the Fire-born in Ventirri's thrall. The Fire-born went instantly mad. It is not known how many survived.
