Eumaniraptora ("true maniraptorans") is a group of maniraptoran dinosaurs. Some of their characteristics include: * Lacrimal is T-shaped * Distal chevrons are split * Tail is very mobile proximally, highly stiffened distally * Scapula + coracoid form an "L"-shape around the body * Pedal digit I is distally placed, giving a good grasping foot (reversed in advanced members of both deinonychosaur groups; enhanced in many avialian groups) * Where known, long feathers on the hindlimb (recorded in basal dromaeosaurids and most basal avialians) * For the smaller primitive forms, gliding flight might have been possible
