"Resources" is a term used in C-evo in various ways. Special resources are the "bonuses" found on certain tiles (in the geometric pattern familiar to players of the early Civ games, more regular in C-evo). They are in two groups: 1.
* Normal special resources are visible from the start: fish, fruit, game, gold, wheat, iron, ivory, oasis, peat, and wine. 2.
* Advanced special resources become visible as soon as you research Science: bauxite, coal, diamonds, ebony, gas, manganese, mineral water, and oil.
