Elizabeth Neu (née Reinhart; 12 August 1871 – 18 October 1982) was a verified American supercentenarian. She was born in Houston County, Minnesota, as Elizabeth Reinart. Her parents were Mathias, a German immigrant, and Susanna Reinart. Neu had 11 siblings in total, of whom three died as infants. German was the first language that she learned and she went to a German-speaking school. As a child, she would help around the house. On 6 February 1893, she married Joseph Neu. The couple had seven children in total. She became a widow in 1937.
