Boreal II/Vacca VI transformation was a holoprogram Dr. Nikolai Rozhenko created for a colony of Boraalans. In the program, the Boraalans, led by Nikolai, would travel cross-country to a place which was safe from storms. During the journey, the terrain would change from Boraal II to Vacca VI, where the colony was ultimately planted by the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Homeward" ) This name was only used in the Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 1, p. 92) .
