Taunoc served a messenger for Redwall and the Long Patrol, carrying messages to and from different areas of Mossflower and Salamandastron. Taunoc often used very fancy and educated speech and was extremely polite. Although he was always helpful he could be occasionally a bit sensitive and had a slightly proud attitude. He did not show his feelings very much but was a devoted father and friend.
