This charitar is about two persons Sankh Kuwaar and Maid of king. ਚੌਪਈ ॥ Chaupaee ਸੰਖ ਕੁਅਰ ਸੁੰਦਰਿਕ ਭਨਿਜੈ ॥ ਏਕ ਰਾਵ ਕੇ ਸਾਥ ਰਹਿਜੈ ॥ ਏਕ ਬੋਲਿ ਤਬ ਸਖੀ ਪਠਾਈ ॥ ਸੋਤ ਨਾਥ ਸੋ ਜਾਤ ਜਗਾਈ ॥੧॥ There was one damsel who was known as Sankh Kunwar; she used to revel with one Raja. He sent his maid who awoke her up while she was sleeping with her husband.(1) ਤਾਹਿ ਜਗਾਤ ਨਾਥ ਤਿਹ ਜਾਗਿਯੋ ॥ ਪੂਛਨ ਤਵਨ ਦੂਤਿਯਹਿ ਲਾਗਿਯੋ ॥ ਯਾਹਿ ਜਾਤ ਲੈ ਕਹਾ ਜਗਾਈ ॥ ਤਬ ਤਿਨ ਯੌ ਤਿਹ ਸਾਥ ਜਤਾਈ ॥੨॥ With her, her husband roused up and questioned the maid, ‘What purpose you have woken us up,’ then she stated like this,(2) ਮੋਰੇ ਨਾਥ ਜਨਾਨੇ ਗਏ ॥ ਚੌਕੀ ਹਿਤਹਿ ਬੁਲਾਵਤ ਭਏ ॥ ਤਾ ਤੇ ਮੈ ਲੈਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਈ ॥ ਸੋ ਤੁਮ ਸੌ ਮੈ ਭਾਖਿ ਸੁਨਾਈ ॥੩॥ ‘My husband has gone to the female chamber to act as the watchman. ‘Being alone, I have come to call her and this is true.’(3) ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥ Dohira ਸੋਤ ਜਗਾਯੋ ਨਾਥ ਤਿਹ ਭੁਜ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਗਹਿ ਲੀਨ ॥ ਆਨਿ ਮਿਲਾਯੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤ ਸੌ ਸਕਿਯੋ ਨ ਜੜ ਕਛੁ ਚੀਨ ॥੪॥ She had awakened the woman and her husband had got up too.
