Galvatron is basically an Insane tyrant, but how did he get this way? He used to be Megatron, a gladiator who started out as a miner, but was disgruntled with the system of things on Cybertron. He inspired Optimus, who would be his life-long enemy in the war that would shortly follow. Though, he died to Optimus, a bunch of Decepticons took his body out to space, and Unicron reformatted him into this form, Galvatron. Unicron wanted Galvy to serve him, and help him destroy the Matrix, the Universe, and his life-long enemy, Primus. When Optimus died at the hands of Galvatron, Jazzimus swore to avenge his former friend, and commander. Unknown betrayed him, and got a bunch of Decepticons who supported her, including Starscream, who wanted to put a dagger in Galvy's backside for a long time, so obviously, he was jealous of her.
