  • Yumemi Town is the main setting for Kamen Rider OOO. The city is controlled by the powerful Kougami Foundation, lead by Kousei Kougami who has a philosophy in the creation and movement of the "birth" of new things, whether they be good or bad for the world, seeing birth as the result of people reaching out for their desires. Yumemi possesses many devices that use a unique set of currency known as the Cell Medal. Using these medals, various devices can be utilized for the protection of the people who live in the city. These include vending machines which can become Ride Vendor bikes and release Candroid androids which can transform from drink can to small useful androids for surveillance and assistance. The Cell Medal technology was developed at the Kougami Biotech Labratory by the genius Dr. Kiyoto Maki, who continuously creates new devices using the Cell Medals for the usage of the Kougami Foundation and those working under him. Though Maki works for Kougami, he is the polar opposite in philosophy in believing everything should have a natural "end" and that the world must be brought to this "end" in order to save it. However alongside the Cell Medals are a more powerful set of Medals within this town: the Core Medals. Sealed away within an 800 year old box at the Kougami Art Museum, these medals were the basis of the bodies of powerful creations known as Greeed. The Greeed were sealed away in the past by a powerful Kamen Rider until their rebirth begins a new era of chaos within the city as they fight among themselves for their completion.
