Suicide booths exist in the alternate 1920s of The Repairer of Reputations. The first one was built opposite Washington Square, New York, in a garden created by tearing down the block between Wooster Street and South Fifth Avenue (today LaGuardia Place), and featured sculptures (The Fates) by Boris Yvain. Referred to as a suicide chamber in My Reputation Repaired.
